This is very important for those with IBD/IBS/Crohns as sufferers can be at a higher risk for cancer. Specifically Colorectal Cancer. However, there are proactive steps one can take. The lifetime risk of developing Colorectal Cancer is about 1 in 20 (5%). This risk is slightly lower in women than in men. Colorectal Cancer is the third leading cause of cancer related deaths in the United States when men and women are considered separately.
When my guidebook is published it will contain Anti-Cancer remedies that I take. These remedies are also available through the consult with me if you desire. As I always like to mention, the information I have found is free to anyone who puts in the time and effort to research. If you don't want to re-invent the wheel searching long hours on your own contact me. I am providing you one of the remedy though right now as a starter: Coconut Oil. Few studies which have been published but not publicized are in progress to show the coconut oil's medicinal properties. One of the studies that you have probably to heard about involves cancer research. This study was conducted by Australian researchers and it was published in the Chemotherapy journal in January 2015 under "experimental chemotherapy". This study was an in vitro study on human colon or colorectal cancer cells. The researchers of this study were more concerned about finding a good add on for the chemotherapy than finding another solution. In their study the researchers compared the effect of butyrate, a short chain fatty acid or SCFA, which is derived from the fermentation in the gut to lauric acid, a medium chain fatty acid or MCFA. You can find MCFA in palm and coconut oil. Almost 50% of MCFA palm or coconut oil is auric acid. Lauric acid has shown great results in promoting oxidative stress and apoptosis in colon cancer cells and killing them over 90% in just a few hours. You should always remember this Dear Reader - cancer cells can't handle oxygen. So this is a reason to include coconut oil in your daily diet. Another thing to remember about cancer cells is they love sugar. So start reducing your sugar intake in your diet as well. Blessings and Peace!

I am bringing up Shingles as a topic. Why? Because certain diseases (one of which is the main focal point of this site - IBD/IBS/Crohns) are likely a trigger that will make it more likely to activate. In addition some of the Immunosuppressant drugs used in some cases to treat IBS/IBS/Crohns can increase ones risk for getting Shingles. A study published in the journal Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases showed some evidence that rheumatoid arthritis ("RA") patients who were on immune-system-suppressing drugs like Humira and Enbrel had a higher rate of developing shingles than other RA patients.
Likewise, cancer patients going through chemotherapy or radiation also experience weakened immune systems and are at a higher risk for shingles. So what is Shingles? Shingles (or the herpes zoster virus) is an outbreak of painful redness and blisters. Herpes zoster develops from the chickenpox virus. So if you had chickenpox as a kid, that virus never left you. Some of the virus lies dormant in the nerves along your spinal column. The chances of contracting Shingles increases with age. If the virus comes out of dormancy, it can trigger excruciating blisters and redness on one side of the body. Typically it presents in a band along the torso, but it can occur anywhere. 20% of shingles cases are in the eye (this is called herpes zoster ophthalmic) and can lead to blindness. Although I am not normally a fan of vaccines, but in this case if someone is over 50, consider the shingles vaccine. It clearly cuts down both the pain and the actual occurrence of the disease. In a large, five-and-a-half year study of 38,500 men and women across 22 sites in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs system, the vaccine was found safe compared with a placebo. In any crisis or emergency one needs a first line of defense to stop the initial onslaught. When these situations arise I do believe you need not one but two lines of defense. They reside on different planes. One line of defense and the most important is on the spiritual plane and the second one is the work done on the physical plane.
Why am I hung up on PSALM 91? I talk about it a lot. Keep in mind I am not for mindless wrote memorization and recital although in times of extreme duress they do have their place. I am not for Doctrine and procedure either. Me being such a fan of PSALM 91 may make it seem so but it couldn’t be further from the TRUTH. Literally. PSALM 91 simply serves as a fitting reminder of the promises to us. It is comforting and easy to remember in times of distress. Even some toddlers know enough nowadays to call 911 for emergency. Someone once said : “Isn’t it interesting that the world must have gotten its distress 911 number from God’s answer to our distress call - PSALM 91 -1” (PSALM Chapter 91, Verse 1). God’s promise is our 911 call on the spiritual plane and nothing in this world is more reliable than God’s promises when we believe them and refuse to waver. Some may say “Are you crazy? Are you not just telling yourself a lie?” No. Just as a happy couple may see the architects plans for the new house and our joyful, we should look at these promises provided to us during our troubled times and look forward in hope of a positive outcome. Still they may say “How do you know that you can take a song from the PSALMS and base an outcome in your life upon it?” Well, a good authority answered that question. Jesus. The value of the PSALMS was emphasized when he cited them as a source of Truth that must be fulfilled. Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Low of Moses and the Prophets and the PSALMS must be fulfilled.” (Luke 24:44). So we can see that the PSALMS are historically relevant, prophetically sound, and totally applicable and reliable. It seems like only a dream now to think back on 2015 when my mind and body were reeling in fears, doubts, and pains. Little did I know that 2015 was going to provide me a new dream that would not only change my life but the lives of thousands of others who could hear and one day believe. Gotta love me some Bone Broth! “Bone Broth Bone Broth Everywhere; Bone Broth Bone Broth don’t despair. Bone Broth - what ya gonna do. Bone Broth - who you gonna call. Sound off 1 2…..3 4” Wow!! I just came up with a military running cadence based on Bone Broth. How powerful is this stuff.
Ok I am not crazy. Really, just ask my imaginary friends. They will tell you. Seriously I am trying to get you excited about such a seemingly mundane topic as Bone Broth. If you know nothing about it then I have to get you riled up to delve into learning more. So put on your pack soldier and move out! First of all what the heck is Bone Broth? (Note: I provide the recipe and video for how to make this under the Resources tab and then going to the Recipes tab) Good question and a I will provide a good answer. Bone Broth are homemade stocks from animal bones, cartilage and skin that are rich in gelatin, collagen, and amino acids that promote digestive health and heal the lining of the intestines. They are easy to make. While you may find packaged version claiming to be the same thing, I am leery of something being massed produced providing the same nutrient benefits. Primarily because the longer it is cooked the more nutrients are extracted. Still as a last resort I wouldn’t rule them out if I had no other alternative. My guidebook will provide a reputable company that doesn’t do a bad job but still nothing compared to the homemade version. Along this same thought, you can also find these beneficial compounds in supplemental form (i.e. gelatin and collagen capsules). Again I like the real deal. Remember this. No one cares about your health as much as you do. That is why I prefer to make the Bone Broth myself instead of outsourcing it to a company. It is too important to outsource. As someone who used its glorious benefits to recover from what the medical community would deem and unrecoverable illness, I cannot stress the importance of drinking Bone Broth enough. It should be a staple. A food companion that lives long by your side. “In most every culture throughout history has used bone broth for its nutritional significance, versatility and overall deliciousness. Chinese medicine practitioners use bone broth to strengthen the kidney, support digestive systems and build blood. The term“Jewish penicillin” is used for chicken soup, known to inhibit cell inflammation and mitigate cold symptoms. And the English sip beef tea, or beef broth, used since the Victorian era.” Bone Broth has been known for centuries to aid in joint health, immunity, digestive system health, and more. Nutrients are pulled from the bones and cartilage, slowly swirling on low heat into liquid gold (see my Recipe!) - rich in vitamins and minerals. It is rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, silicon, sulphur, trace minerals, and amino acids. Bone marrow carries oxygen to our cells and collagen builds the cells in our brains and bones as well as rebuilds the damaged cells in our intestines. It is without a doubt nature’s super supplement. Don’t throw any bones away without making stock first! Now there is only one thing better than Bone Broth………suspense……..drama…..intrigue…… Yes the one thing better than Bone Broth is Bone Broth on steroids. Well, ok, we don’t want those in our bodies so we will turn yet again to nature for help. Stay tuned for the next Blog to find out what this ingredient is to make your Bone Broth turn into Super Bone Broth. The suspense is now officially over. It is chicken feet that turn the Bone Broth into Super Bone Broth. Chicken feet. The feets of the chicken boys and girls. Now, don’t go gettin’ all grossed out. You may already be eating them in your fast food nuggets. Who knows what goes into those. So, We’ll eat fast food but we won’t simmer chicken feet for Bone Broth. I can sympathize with the first time user. I used to be one of the ones who was grossed out! Until I became sick I would have never dreamed of doing this task. But now I know better. I wish now that someone would have provided me this information before I was sick. If I knew what I know now I would not have undergone the ordeal and pain and suffering that I did. Prevention! Of course had I not gone through all the tribulations this website would not exist. If you have not done so yet read the About Me section on the site.
WHY YOU SHOULD BE EATING CHICKEN FEET - Because your body needs lots of vitamins, trace minerals, collagen, and calcium. That’s why. It is, truly, nature’s super-supplement. Adding chicken feet to that Bone Broth ups the anty. Chicken feet are comprised of entirely bones, tendons, and cartilage. But what our bodies can pull from those feet nutritionally is pure magic. If you want to heal yourself from the outside in, start with chicken foot bone broth. HOW TO PEEL CHICKEN FEET - We peel chicken feet for a couple of reasons. First, the chickens feet are dirty. Duh! They are barefoot. And thus, we peel. Second, the skin on the chicken feet can tend to give your Bone Broth a bad taste. And thus, we peel some more. In a few weeks I will add a video on how to peel the chicken feet. There is a select skill set involved in this. The best way to have this task completed is to have your Mom do it. I do! :-) Best Mom ever. If you don’t live near yours then watch the video. I taught my Mom how to do it and then handed the task over to her. Latest DoD Figures Show Suicide Kills Almost 5 Times as Many Troops as Combat: For the complete article visit this yahoo link.
In a 2012 report put out by the Veterans Administration, it was estimated that up to 22 veterans a day, kill themselves. That is 8,000 lives a year; almost one per hour. If we look at attempted suicides, that number skyrockets to 19,000 attempts, of which 8,000 result in ending their own lives. Another cost of war that I cannot prove is the vaccines given to soldiers for overseas deployments. I believe that this has played apart in me becoming ill. There are many more costs of war but we will leave it at this for today. |
